UK-based Park Leisure has launched the Diamond Club, giving buyers the opportunity to buy a quarter share of one of up to five lodges in Wensleydale National Park.
Based at the firm’s Chantry Retreat Holiday Park in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, members of the Diamond Club will also have access to a dedicated concierge service, Park Leisure has owned Chantry Retreat since 2007 and it currently houses 150 static pitches and features landscaped gardens, a putting green, children’s play area and its own 40 foot waterfall.
John Jagger, executive chair of the Harrogate and Dales Tourism Partnership, feels the move will help boost the local economy: “This innovation is just what we need to ensure the area attracts higher spending tourists and the visitor economy is boosted.
“The lodges are the highest quality and really are like a five star hotel suite – only set in the middle of a National Park. This innovative scheme is the first of its kind in the UK and I’m delighted that it’s in Wensleydale.”
Prices for a quarter share of a lodge in the Diamond Club is £34,950, which gives up to 75 nights use for 20 years.
